It was an amazing experience, with the artistic development being something I particularly enjoyed. The Daiwa Foundation were incredibly open and supportive offering talks, helping with education opportunities and really promoting collaborative British and Japanese artwork. With Tom, a lot of the work in his art was exploring why he creates it.
In 18 years of working the question had never really been fully resolved and over the months we worked together it eventually came out with a two week revelation that Tom described as "near on an acid trip".
