Event Description The Association of Women in the Arts (AWITA) announces their inaugural conference, 'Build Your Own Art World', dedicated to supporting the talent pipeline for women working in the visual arts. Chaired by Melanie Gerlis, Art Market Columnist and Contributor at the Financial Times, the conference will be held at Phillips and is generously supported by Cheyenne Westphal who sits on the AWITA Advisory Board. Alongside panels, and workshops to deliver core skills and competencies, there will be time for reflection, self-awareness and the opportunity to connect with peers.
