Atmosfear: Secret Location Party

In 2015 I conceptualised an idea for a annual student event, which would go further in engaging the student population than a regular event. The concept is a 'secret location party' in which students would purchase a ticket for the event without any indication of where the event will be held. Running this style of event for Halloween was a perfect combinatio as it allowed us to create a spooky Atmosphere for the event. Students would meet at the SU commcercial venue awaiting organised coaches to the undisclosed venue. For this we engaged student societies and volunteers to not only create immersive production in the venues but also bring in actors to play the roles of Halloween characters to be in around the building, generating an immersive experience for all attendees. Over the 4 years we saw exponential growth in the event with the first event in 2015 (Hidden Nightclub) selling out 600 tickets, to 2016 (Bowler's Exhibition Centre) selling 1100 tickets and then our greatest numbers in 2018 (Victoria Warehouse) as we saw a sell out 1600 tickets. Over the years we had incredible from the students and this can be seen in the sales trajectory and why we continued to build on this year on year.
