Recently I have been developing a motion design aesthetic. Finding the gap between music videos and animation to present worlds that move with fluidity but are in the realm of the surreal. Stylistically inspired by William Turner and Van Gogh impressionists work, I have applied the techniques to music as I feel there is a correlation currently to the renaissance sounds emanating from Africa, Afrobeats and the diaspora. The mixed media style I believe is effective and playful and I will look to develop this style for further works
