I worked as lead researcher for the ABC on Cry Me A River which covered the water management issues in the Murray Darling. This was a very interesting project to me as it investigated important issues of water mismanagement, committee corruption, and climate change that lead to the mass fish killings in the Murray Darling Basin. My role in this project as lead researcher was to compile facts and evidence to pitch the story for broadcast to the producers and stakeholders. Once the story was approved I then conducted more 'emotional' research into the key players and people of interest, conducting phone and in person interviews, receiving comments and statements from organising and operating as a touch point for all stakeholders involve in the Murray Darling Basin.
