Ayr Vaporiser - UI/Artwork/Packaging

Beyond Twenty Ltd is a London based tech startup housing a highly talented team of Designers, Engineers and Retail Heads. They are involved with the design of Ayr, a smart connected vaporiser launching soon. I worked as Senior UI Designer between 2016 and 2017. My role was to push forward a responsive solution to Ayr’s pre-sale launch site. Creating concepts, storyboards with transitions and parallax animation sequences using 3D models and visualisations to showcase the product and its state of the art technology. Scalable considerations for e-commerce, marketing, technical details as new assets, specs and legal requirements were being developed. App designs were also pushed forward with e-commerce app functionality, identifying improvements to aid remote development teams. Using 3D tools in Illustrator, I also created an extensive range of packaging concepts and white samples for in-house testing. Liaising with legal, to align with TPD regulations to promote product safety, and print specialists on CMYK and Pantone selection, materials, finishes and print feasibility. Digital artwork included vibrant and bold graphics and bespoke patterns inspired by the Bauhaus movement. My role also included in-house photography and retouching (of my hands!) to create a professional and hyperreal look for use across multiple channels. See examples below.
