Planned obsolescence in mass production is often used to maintain sales within business, but at the same time, it has weakened the product values perceived by consumers. This situation is best seen in fashion industries, where new seasons of clothig were being established at an increasing rate. Customers were driven by desires and never stopped disposing their clothigns even whe they are still fully functional.
