Balkon Turist is an Effie award winner great advertising campaign made by Ogilvy Sofia for IKEA.
The name make a reference to the old state travel agency Balkan Turist in the communist times.
IKEA furnished and decorated with their new season products some selected balconies (in private homes) in Sofia, then anyone can book one to have a peaceful and relaxing time enjoying the conversation and spontaneous people.
Balcony tourist also need flight instructions.
Here they are, before landing on the balcony or terrace.
Making a graphic reference to the classic safety instructions we present the IKEA steps to feel comfort and functionality of the new spring - summer collection. Leaflets with the instructions will be distributed before the tourist take their seats on the booked balcony.
