Bam Organic - Christmas Animation
Silver Agency were asked to create a seasonal animation for Bam Organic to share on their social media platforms. I was tasked with creating an illustrative style for the video. I put together a colour palette and style that would give the piece a warm and nostalgic look and feel.
The challenge was that we were working to a tight, inflexible deadline (Christmas!). Taking this into consideration, we focused on creating a visually appealing illustration style with a continuous, parallax camera move. This reduced the number of scenes we needed to illustrate and animate and would help retain the audience’s attention as they scrolled through their social media feed.
I animated the video using a combination of traditional cel animation and After Effects to emphasize the vintage feeling of the piece.
