This is a client project collaborating with Barbican. This Barbican Box project aims to explore the relationship between human being and technology and discuss how our life has been rewired by the development of technology. The theme of my series of work is “Reality”. I tried to visualize the uncertainty of reality brought by technology by animating with linocut. Linocut printmaking stands for human handmade, and the content of animations is flashing between the human world and the technological world. The most constantly used element in this series is the Morse Code. For example, in the world of artificial intelligence, is the brain still human brain? Or is it coded by Morse Code or binary code? Besides, different emotions are embedded in each clip by playing with editing.
