Barış İçin Müzik Jazz Camp

Barış İçin Müzik (Music for Peace) was hosted to the camp in Kaş, between 27 July and 3 August, in collaboration with Pozitif Live and Dreams Academy. We were there with about 55 students, instructors and our coordination team. It established as an alternative development and training centre in Çukurbağ village. In addition to sports activities such as hiking, horseback riding, swimming, rope-diving, yoga, volleyball, table tennis, high course, they participated in the painting workshop and creative drama activities. On the evening of July 29, Barış İçin Müzik gave a public concert in Çukurbağ. Another significant value for our camp, a social entrepreneurship model, with music and entertainment for great opportunities in Turkey, "Mehmet Ulug Music House" was our formation of the first guests. Participant of the camp had the chance to make three different pieces together at MUME. We have commemorated Mehmet Uluğ with music at the concert of our orchestra at the Ancient Theater of Kaş on July 31, under the direction of Samuel Matus.
