I worked with Punch Records on the PR for this year's festival. The Birmingham-based festival offered six days of live music, workshops, panel discussions, exhibitions + film screenings across Brum venues. Two of the Birmingham's biggest and brightest young things, Aliyah Hasinah and RTKal were the curators for this year's BASS Festival. My role involved securing press coverage across print, digital and radio/TV etc. I have worked on securing over 30 pieces of coverage for the festival across urban digital media, print, Birmingham-based press, radio and engaging with micro-influencers, art websites and similar organisations' social media channels to reach larger audiences, raise awareness of the festival and increase ticket sales to the events.
