BBC Earth - Production Manager

BBC Earth was a unique production company in that we were pioneers in developing and producing ideas never done before across multi platforms and using new technology. I started out in development, taking on potential ideas and making them into workable pitches. I was responsible for looking at the possibilities of making the idea into a reality, creating schedules to go with them and finally producing a budget to show the cost of doing it all. I progressed quickly to managing various productions, often all at the same time. Seeing each production through from pre -prod to delivery I was responsible for managing overall budgets of varying scales and related schedules, overseas filming often in very remote locations, multiple edits, post facilities such as CGI and teams of crew and talent. I have overseen 4k and 6k workflows as well as Dolby deliveries including Atmos and 12.1.
