Bearing fruit looks at Sittingbourne, a small town in the South East of England. A former industrial hub, now a commuter town with a familiar storie as many other small English town's. With development plans forever being presented to the local council its future is one with great hope and sorrow for the residnets, as the land is divided up and sold to housing developments and supermarkets its growth is inevitable and, in many respects, greatly anticipated by its residents. What is qurstioned is the loss of identity for the town as it struggles to supply a modern living for its residents whilst refraining from turning into a clone town.
