'Beauty is pain'
an exploration of the glamorisation of the era of " heroin chic " in the late 90s to the 2000s.
The oufit was hand made by me, using chains beads and hot glue, the skirt was cut and sown. the hair, make up an sfx makeup was also done my me using liquid latex, fake blood and eyeshadow.
this project was for my final project for my college course, the overall theme was beauty is pain, however i explored two different subjects of my overall theme beauty is pain, the fashion industry and the ballet industry where i explored the issues presented in both industrys.
