Best Aspiring Filmmaker Award!

Can’t believe that a film I couldn’t/didn’t want to finish 6 months ago got me my first win at a film festival! My debut as a writer - and for sure an ambitious one - first time working with a big crew, first time working with actors, countless days and nights in the edit suite, rewrites, tears - you name it. Thank you to Festival Courts D'Un Soir for programming my film and the jury for choosing it as the best short in the under 21 category among other strong contenders! It means so much to have my silly (at the time 18 year old) vision backed by such prestigious, professional opinion.
