The year 2019 marked the 60th anniversary of a failed uprising against Chinese forces in Tibet, which led to the exile of Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama, to India, followed by 80,000 Tibetan refugees. The campaign aims at bringing people together by creating a warm and homely environment for the refugees and bringing awareness in the society by remembering the pain and struggles by keeping the stories alive.
