It’s London Fashion Week! In episode three, we visit the shortlisted designers backstage at their shows as they prepare to present their autumn/winter 2015 collections to the world. In September, one of these designers will show at London Fashion Week as the winner of the 2015 BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund. At the shows, we also catch up with some of the judging panel. Have the designers done enough to prove to the panel they are worthy of winning?
The Fund was established in 2008 and provides one designer with a bespoke, high level mentoring support programme over a twelve month period, as well as a £200,000 grant to provide necessary infrastructure to take them to the next stage in their business.
The Designer Fashion Fund series follows the judges and the shortlisted designers through their journey of the Fund application process, from the first stage judging through to the winner announcement.
