Bijoux De Luxe

Bijoux De Luxe explores the detail and geometric shapes within jewellery and vases. Using vibrant colours, and textures, I've created a collection of high-end womenswear garments, including scarves. In this project I have improved my skill within digital design, printing my designs onto natural materials, such as Bamboo Silk and Silk Twill. In this project, I wanted to experiment with techniques, therefore, I chose to do discharge printing, making the fabric reversible, so it works best as a scarf. I appliquéd cut out shapes from my digitally printed fabric, applying it to Bamboo Silk, a light, flowing fabric.
