The Bishops Avenue in Hampstead is one of the wealthiest streets in the world. Remarkably however, there are at least 16 mansions on the mile long road that are completely derelict and have been left to rot for years. These properties are worth hundreds of millions combined and are registered to companies in tax havens to avoid paying any stamp duty. It is the perfect example of the huge wealth disparity in the capital, which continues to grow each year.
