An opulent display of beautiful, black bodies contrasting the current social climate and representation of black bodies in the mainstream media. This shoot set out to celebrate the richness in melanin and shine an empowering light on Queens and Kings in such a dark time, in the world. Displaying positive images that celebrate and empower the diaspora instead of the demeaning and negative images portrayed so often in media.
