I have been struggling with what to say about what has been happening all around the world, especially in the States. Over the past couple of weeks I have been educating myself on this movement as well as its history. As a white women I have pledged to listen and help end the fight against racism.The Racism virus has been infecting this world for 400 years and it need to stop. Angela Davis said " I am no longer accepting the things I cannot change. I am changing the things I cannot accept" and I cannot accept the black men, women and children feel they are not accepted in society because they do matter !! I will not tell the black community how to feel, protest or mourn. I will do everything in my power and beyond to advocate & protect black lives. I will be a voice and advocate in ending police brutality against black people.I will challenge power structures that seek to deny the voices and experience of the black community.
