Blah Blah Genitals- Jack

Blah Blah Blah Genitals is a project surrounding gender identity and exploring the formation of gender in boys aged six to sixteen years of age. The project is a collaborative piece initiated by Julia Falkner (photographer) and Lorena Hydeman (stylist) in which they documented the exploration of gender in young boys through a series of photographs, supported by interviews and moving image. The film I have produced documents the findings with Jack Melton-Chaproniere; how he felt about the clothes he was wearing, about gender identity and differences. It fuses fashion and documentary film to create a unique view of what its like growing up in modern day society.
