Blatnica is small but strong village in Velká Fatra region, Slovakia. This place is full of memories of movies that were filmed there. And that is high number. In collaboration between me, municipal office of Blatnica and Stanica Záriecie in Žilina was created this project to remind of great nature around Blatnica and it's big potential.
"Blatnica vo filme" was movie festival in Blatnica and this is little guide through festival with film map. Blatnica is especially famous because as a shooting location of first slovak movie called Jánošík. Made by Siakel brothers in year 1921.
