Blindly

  • Josephine Howard

Blindly is an exhibition designed for the Medical Museion in Copenhagen to showcase part of the museum’s collection of aids for the blind. The objects on display represent different methods and techniques used to overcome the challenges that people with visual impairment encounter when reading and writing. The exhibition is not intended for the eyes; it is designed without any object descriptions. To understand the objects and their functions, visitors must listen to a visual interpretation. Visitors are also invited to touch some of the objects, creating a more sensory understanding of them and how they are used.
