Blisters: Season 7 - Press & Influencer Event (2018)

In the build-up to Blisters: Season 7, we invited influencers, bloggers and members of the press to an exclusive preview evening of a selection of the art being released and give them an insight to screen printing by allowing them to print slogan t-shirts with well-known one-liners from Classic Tv Shows such as; Friends. The theme for Blisters: Season 7 was TV Shows. We had organised the preview evening to relate to TV Shows, we hung the artwork in a bar similar to one's you'd see in old shows like 'Only Fools & Horses', The artist credits were printed onto VHS tapes, as were the personalised invitations for the event, The cocktails were made by Ruby's Dalston and 80s inspired like lots of the artworks which were inspired by TV Shows from 1980 and finally the dinner table dressing were inspired by old TV guides. I had a key role in event planning this press night, curating the perfect evening along with the Print Club team. From the initial personalised invitations, the menus, the art direction of the gallery space, interactive elements and the event planning of the whole event.
