Book commissioned as part of the 50th anniversary celebration of the Vascular Surgery Department at St. Anthony’s General Hospital, in Porto. Their successful approach to treating and preventing vascular disease is a reference for hospitals, medical centres and practices across Europe.
The stitched (of course!) Swiss-bound book is divided into three main sections: Yesterday tells the story of the Department and its staff; Today —printed in ‘clinical-enhancing’ extra white— includes most scientific publications (abstracts only) since the year 2000, in a two-column sequencial layout; and Tomorrow, written by the young medical staff, is a projection for the future.
The copper Pantone and foil helps with the celebratory, institutional character of the book.
