Book of Secrets: Art Journals for Recovery

Creative writing workshop with The Craftimation Factory for Sussex Recovery College. I designed and facilitated a creative writing workshop with the Craftimation Factory for Sussex Recovery College, a mental health organisation which empowers people to take control of their own recovery and wellbeing through learning. ​ I supported the group to think creatively through a variety of writing interventions focusing on the senses. Through this, participants wrote journal entries and poems in handmade concertina books they had created with artist Lee Shearman. The work was exhibited at Skeletons out of the closet, a pop-up exhibition at the De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill on 6th November 2016.
