Booths is a chain of high-end supermarkets in Northern England. Most of its branches are in Lancashire. It has been described as the "Waitrose of the North" by sources such as The Daily Telegraph.Booths has attempted to compete on quality as opposed to just price and has been developed on the motto "to sell the best quality goods in shops staffed by first class assistants".
This is a double pages magazine advertising for booths. Our original intention is
to show that the milk provided by Booths is the freshest through the copywritting "from local to local". We made a lot of different attempts and finally chose this one. The scene is designed like a bar, with milk on the table and a little mud around the glass to indicate that it was just delivered from the farm. In order to get closer to the brand's tone, the entire poster was adjusted to a cool color.
