Botanical Clash

Botanical Clash is inspired by details and textures found in plants, combining themes typically associated with masculine and feminine attire to create a high-end women’s wear collection. It includes adaptable garments linking with my dissertation ‘Treat Yourself’ which explores a buy less, choose well counteractive approach to fast fashion. My multidisciplinary collection utilises the layering of a wide range of experimental techniques and contrasting materials overlaying leather, organza, pinstripe and jersey. ​Collaging the textures created through digital embroidery, hand beading, applique, reflective threads and photographic print.
