We were asked by our wonderful client Quintessentially to work on a project for one of their clients, Boucheron. Boucheron, a high-end Jewellery company whose London store is in Mayfair, wanted a mid Summer event for their top clients to view their latest collection of high jewellery ‘L’Artisan du Rêve’. To mark this World Première, MLB came up with ‘WONDER WALK’ creating and curating artworks viewed literally ‘on the streets of mayfair’ inspired by a piece from this new collection. Guests arrived at the store and were given a map. They were invited to go on a short walk. En route they would happen upon a series of artworks created or curated by us. ‘The game’ was to match the artworks in front of them with the name of each Jewellery piece. Guests made their way back to the store for the reveal of the Boucheron collection and the winner was announced.
The invitation was printed on a cotton drawstring bag containing a golf ball light bulb. Guests were invited to bring this with them to the event, where their bulb was added to a light sculpture making up the name of this year’s Boucheron collection as the evening progressed.
