Bracy Unhooked

We all love freedom, but how many of us achieve it, in the ways we want? Woman all over the world confides to the norms. One of them is, wearing Bras. These padded creatures have become a vital part of every woman’s life. Since centuries, bras have been known to uplift beauty standards, and so, woman complied to being experimented on, as bras were modified from time to time Purpose: To explore the various forms of bras and express it in my own way. It is to understand how women around the world most probably feel in a confined bra as well, and that hopefully, they realise it is ok if they do not adorn one

Creative Strategy: I felt what best expressed my thoughts is to have set a conversation between the BRA and me. The Bra, who is known as Bracy will narrate its history and how it evolved. Bracy has a demeaning tone, while I, the listener, reacts in a surprised and devastated manner. I felt it would be an interesting take as the reader will be more involved as though reading a casual and personal story
Tone: Sarcastic and flirtatious. This is to depict my frustration and I feel, combining it with a flirtatious tone which women are expected to have, will create a more lateral impact on the audience
