Our Speakers:
  • Dr. Doyin Atewologun, a Chartered Organisational Psychologist, is one of the foremost experts on organisational development, diversity, intersectionality and leadership in the UK. Doyin is the lead researcher on the review led by Sir John Parker (chairman of Anglo American PLC)into ethnic diversity on FTSE 100 boards as commissioned by the then UK Secretary of State for Business. Doyin is also lead researcher of the Black British Business Awards’ The Middle Research programme; a collaboration with over 30 blue chip companies committed to progressing minority ethnic talent from middle management into executive positions.

  • Harriet Minter is a journalist and speaker. She focuses on a variety of issues relating to women, the future of work, media and diversity. She has written for publications including The GuardianThe Times and The Pool. She has a monthly column in Psychologies magazine.She is a regular speaker on women’s rights, organisational change, workplace diversity and just getting stuff done. She has given two TED talks and appeared on the BBC and Sky News. As well as her media work she coaches individuals to help them achieve their professional goals and provides brands with diversity and content marketing consultancy. She also writes the only weekly newsletter guaranteed to get you promoted. 

  • Dr. Tunde Okewale MBE is an international human rights barrister at Doughty Street Chambers specialising in crime, sports law and regulation. He was awarded an MBE in the 2016 Queen’s Birthday Honours list for services to the community and disadvantaged young people. Tunde is also a consultant, public speaker and recipient of numerous other awards including the JCI London Ten Outstanding Young People Award 2013, Diversity Champion at the UK Diversity Legal Awards 2014 and the inaugural Chambers & Partners award for Outstanding Contribution to Diversity.

  • Charlene Brown is a Strategic employment lawyer at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, and spent 10 years in-house at a BNY Mellon, a global investments company. In addition, Charlene counsels on best practices for corporate diversity initiatives, diversity networks, and startups. Charlene was a finalist for the Inspirational Role Model of the Year Award at the 2015 European Diversity Awards. In 2014 Charlene won the BNY Mellon Star Award for extraordinary work and exemplifying the Company’s core values. Only 50 employees were chosen globally out of over 50,000 employees. In 2016 Charlene was also the recipient of the Black British Business Awards 'Rising Star' Award.
