This job, although essentially a TV production was set up a great deal more like several events. We would have auditions at large conference canters e.g ICC Birmingham & ExCel London where it was my job to liaise with the event coordinators to get the venue and shoot days set up correctly. We then had the audition days set in theatres like the Dominion and Palladium where I gained insight into the running of large theatresand again working with the event coordinators to ensure the smooth running of the days. My job as Production Coordinator meant I was the 'Event Coordinator' for the production team and would have to pull all aspects of the event together, from hiring dance floors arranging catering to booking travel and accommodation for the team of 200+ people.
