British Journal of Photography - Portrait of Britain

The series contains photos submitted to the BJP Competition "Portrait of Britain". The location is Narrow Way, a pedestrian area at the north end of Mare Street (Hackney, London), which is the neighbourhood where I live. The local shops and population, representing a plethora of different cultural, social and ethnic backgrounds, contributed to the natural formation of a tight knit, beautifully diverse community, where mutual support and hard work never ceased to exist even during the Covid-19 pandemic.
