BROCHURES

In August 2013, my lecturer at university asked me to put together a 90 page publication called 'the Coalition and Beyond' for a group called 'Liberal Reform'. With a foreword by Nick Clegg (Deputy Prime Minister at the time), this publication was a booklet of essays written by various supporters of the Liberal Democrats, and members of Liberal Reform. Some of the essays were written by MPs as well as group members and even some barons and baronesses. The booklet was to be finished in time for the Liberal Democrats conference in autumn and I completed it with Adobe InDesign. As the conference was televised, I was able to see people carrying the booklet around on BBC Newsnight.

In July 2015, I was approached by a hedge fund called Observatory Capital Management to help rework their brochure and presentation for an upcoming conference. In the process of deciding how to change their presentation I was also asked to design some alternative logos for them. I reworked their original logo and came up with my own ideas that were based around the company name. I had to keep a professional corporate style and not stray too far from what they already had. They were pleased with my work and the logos I produced but they chose in the end to stick with one of my reworked versions of their original logo. To present all of what I created, I put together a PDF file to display all of what they had to choose from.
