Building a trustworthy community

  • Emily Tisk

C3 Hope is a protestant church based in Sheffield, believing that salvation is found by grace and not by being ‘good enough,’ and is pentecostal in its celebration of The Holy Spirit bringing joy, wisdom and power into our everyday lives. ‍ Envisioning the church as a creative space, a place where people can outwork the creativity inside of them, C3 Hope creators were in need to change their identity that would reflect its traditional values yet contemporary style of music and relevancy of its preaching.

Mother Brand Identity

The new identity is based on a ‘Trust’ concept which embodies a timeless tone: the logo icon reflects connectivity and togetherness, circular shape is used to represent holiness. Minimal, refined graphics and elements create a sense of credibility while warm, toned-down colours provide neutrality as a backdrop to build relationships. ‍ Classic, refined typography with a contemporary feel gives a genuine impression of trust - with both immediacy and legacy.
