Minimal design, maximum capability
Our plan was to create a scalable platform so that Buster + Punch could roll out new websites as the brand expands into new territories. We built the site on Magento due to it’s multi website/store/language capabilities and centralised admin area, making it easy for a small team to manage content across multiple websites.
We integrated both sites with Brightpearl (ERP system) which syncs orders, inventory, customer data and customer price lists from multiple channels to one easy to use platform. This will enable the team to keep a tight reign on stock with detailed reporting and forecasting capabilities.
Increasing three things were key for Buster + Punch; usability, average order and customer lifetime value. Therefore we set up sophisticated product filtering and merchandising capabilities including cross sells, tier pricing, bundles, gift card system and a referral marketing scheme.
The trade site is gated so only approved retailers and wholesale customers can access it. On logging in all products and prices are updated automatically to reflect their personalised product portfolio and price list.
Recognising the importance of social media as a key traffic driver, we ensured that all key pages use microdata to optimise content for search engines and social media including Pinterest’s Rich Pins.
