C20 Society Poster Competition

The Twentieth Century Society is a charity which aims to educate, promote and conserve good Twentieth Century architectural design in Britain. The East Midlands group within the society are very keen to raise awareness of the regions architectural achievements from that era. A creative and fun way to do this is to create booklets/posters to show appreciation of the design of the buildings. Designers and artists are able to show new visual ways of looking at building and draw our attention to the architectural qualities and sense of place, all whilst advertising their creative ability. The initial client proposed the designer to consider 6 buildings in the city of Lincoln, but the brief can be expanded onto the other cities within the region upon request. The format of the images can be for posters (A2 or A4) for print and web, or a booklet (A5 or A6). Upon further discussion with my tutor it was also decided that I could go further than Lincoln and East Midlands and create illustrations for any location I choose, if I so wish to do so.
