Cadbury Dairy Milk Ritz and Lu Biscuit 3D Model
Described as “milk chocolate with eight salted crackers”, this 4-square bar contains a mini Ritz cracker on both sides of each square. The chocolate is pure Dairy Milk, so of course it tastes delicious and creamy. The task was to assimilate the single chunk visual from the front of pack and create a four chunk visual. The previous single block was supplied from the agency for reference along with several bars… we're not sure what happened to them.
The supplied bars were measured and lots of photography was taken for reference, then the bars were modelled in 3D using Cinema 4D and the sculpting toolsets. Textures were created from the reference photography and applied, and lighting was matched to the original shot. Once rendered there was very little retouching as the bars themselves needed to be as accurate as possible so that they could be rendered from any angle for future use in advertising and point of sale. All in all a very tasty project and a must try for any chocolate fan.
