Canadian West

Canadian West is an on-the-road style documentary project that explores the people, region and culture of a lesser represented side of North America - Western Canada. In June of 2019 I set out across the western provinces of British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan by car, documenting a series of brief encounters with the people of the region: rural farming families, small business owners, ghost town residents, rodeo champions, indigenous dancers and quiet street scenes. The project was featured in Suitcase Magazine Vol. 31.
