Who is it for?

The programme is designed for navigators and shapers in the creative industry. If you are transforming your business and wish to articulate your personal Creative Strategic Leadership Strategy then this programme is for you.
Ideal for agency, marketing and communication industry decision-makers responsible for managing creative teams and/or in charge of significant budgets including creative directors, account managers, brand managers, marketing & communication directors, managing directors as well as media and digital media producers. Whether you are a senior executive, team leader, creative or entrepreneur- this programme gives you the leadership raw materials to take your career to the next level.Specifically, it addresses three areas essential for advancing creative excellence:
  • • The rapidly changing creative communication industries landscape
  • • Digital and media transformation
  • • Leading creatives and creativity

How does it work?

Week 1: Berlin

Through six intensive days of lectures, interactive case discussions and small group exercises, Berlin School professors will immerse attendees in real-world aspects of current advertising and communication industry leadership and organisational practise. They’ll analyse effective leadership, organisational design and change management in a high-intensity creative business. Week one also prepares attendees for their second week where they’ll attend Cannes Lions; examining how to capitalise on the Festival’s resources and creating individual development plans.

Week 2: Cannes

Each day at Cannes Lions will combine lectures from industry leaders, discussions and group work. Participants will have full access to the Festival’s content programme, enriching their classroom learning and advancing their understanding of the industry’s challenges and their individual skills. They’ll receive one-to-one support throughout the week. The course concludes with attendees presenting their plans, as well as a group assessment of how they can take the skills they’ve learned forward to generate real impact and a lasting culture of creativity in their companies.

Our programmes all have one thing in common. They’re led by experts from across the globe who have specialist knowledge and the passion to pass it on: renowned agency executives, award-winning creative directors and entrepreneurs alike. This year’s tutors will be announced at a later date.
