CANNOLO Zine, April 2024 Editor, Photographer, Film, Styling and Journalist This editorial project, titled "CANNOLO Zine" is a multi-faceted exploration of my life and creative pursuits, inspired by my experiences living between London and Sicily. This zine transcends a traditional format, encompassing video, photography, journalism, and personal reflection. The project unfolds in three distinct parts: London Sicily: This section delves into my reflections on navigating life between two vibrant cultures. It explores themes of identity, belonging, and the complexities of cultural exchange. A short film complements this section, showcasing my film production, post-production, and storytelling skills. Brixt-Home: This segment highlights my passion for fashion photography and videography. It features a series of visually striking images and videos, demonstrating my abilities in styling, post-production, and capturing the essence of fashion. Salvatore Pione: This journalistic piece profiles Salvatore Pione, a Sicilian multimedia artist based in London. Through photography, videography, and a compelling interview, I delve into Pione's artistic practice, exploring his inspirations, challenges, and unique perspective. This section underscores my journalistic skills, encompassing interviewing, visual documentation, and post-production. Beyond Content Creation: This project extends beyond content creation, encompassing the entire editorial process. I meticulously managed the zine's production, from concept development and design to printing and distribution. Furthermore, I spearheaded the promotional efforts, ensuring the zine reached a wider audience. CANNOLO Zine is a testament to my diverse creative skills, passion for storytelling, and ability to manage multifaceted projects. It captures the essence of my cross-cultural journey, offering a unique and engaging perspective on life, art, and identity.
