Carnivore (2019) - Sound Design

A short thriller for which I recorded and designed the sound. Similarly structured to films like 'Nocturnal Animals', 'Carnivore' follows writer and subject as the barriers between their own lives begin to falter. This project presented many challenges such as eliminating heavy background noise, creating leitmotifs for both characters and utilising the music written in a succinct and cohesive way throughout the film. My favourite element within the film was manipulating a lions growl into a heavy, build-able loop that would introduce main character Tom's murderous rages.
