Kieran's Feedback Planner//
DESCRIBE CURRENT BEHAVIOUR:
Kieran's punctuality is a problem as it causes the other memebers of the team to fall behind on their tasks to cover for Kieran. If she is late, she should have a valid reason and should find someone from the senior team/the manager of that day to appologise for being late. Or if she knew she was not going to make it on time, at least ring the store and let them know so they can prepare/assign extra tasks to staff to make up for the temporary delay.
IDENTIFY SITUATIONS:
Her punctuality is poor and affecting her chances of being a permanent member of staff, rather than a temp. Her lack of knowledge with the tills also lets her down as no one would be kept on of they are not fully trained.
IDENTIFY ALTERNATIVE BEHAVIOURS:
In the first week when she was employed, there was many positive comments about her work ethic and how she gets on with customers. The fact she has had these comments kept her in a close eye with the senior team. But this caused as issue with her being late and her avoidance of the tills as it was picked up more.
IMPACT AND CONSEQUENCES:
Because Kieran hadn't told anyone about her Dyscalculia, this has made people assume she is lazy and not punctual and just doesnt want to work on the tills. This may have jeoparidse her chance of having a permenant role with the company.
Kieran's Action Plan:
WHAT SKILLS NEED TO BE DEVELOPED:
Confronting situations that may not be comfortable/out of her comfort zone and letting senior members of staff know about issues.
WHO CAN HELP:
Any member of the team, senior or not. If there is a problem with something, it can be addressed quicly as others will be available to help.
WHEN IS THIS TO BE ACHIEVED:
If Kieran is taken on as a permenant member of staff then problems will need to be resolved immediately.
HOW IS THIS TO BE MEASURED:
Keeping a close eye on Kieran and her work on the tills and when she is late. A record will be monitored if a permenant position is taken and then will be addressed after each occurance. Perhaps put her on a probation period for a month.
