Celebrating 100 years of Suffragettes

I was invited to be one of 3 female artists to facilitate a community mural project in the industrial area of Reading. We were asked to engage young people from the local area to celebrate the industries women would have taken over from during and after the War. We gave our young people the oppertunity to suggest names of women they find influential and added them to the words "WE GO ON" a quote taken from the Suffragettes Film released in 2015. The mural was painted in a public space over two days and remains there on route to the main train station.
