In 2006, our Directors, Chris Murphy, Jason Bailey, Phil Leggatt and Simon Haupt, 4 colleagues from Hertfordshire, all with solid recruitment backgrounds and working for well known agencies within the industry, decided to go it alone and set up their own agency from their home in Bishop’s Stortford, Solution Recruitment was born.
Their mission: to create partnerships with both clients and candidates whilst understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations. Their Vision: to continually improve their standards by listening and learning from everyday experiences. And their Values: to appreciate the values and thoughts of all the people they work with.
Now 10 successful years on Solution has grown from strength to strength, with offices in London and Hertfordshire, we continue to meet the Directors initial Mission, Vision and Values, whilst doing what we do best, servicing the recruitment needs of both clients and candidates within the built environment. Solution has become a leader within its field!
Chris Murphy, Director at Solution said “Back in 2006, little did we know what the future had in store for us. We grew the business initially from my home, which later saw a move to Epping, Essex where we recruited a number of staff. Here we survived a recession, downsizing as expected. But totally focused and committed to the growth and success of Solution, our determination and careful planning resulted in us being where we are today”.
Jason Bailey, Director also added “As a business, the directors regularly get together to review our sales and marketing strategy. We like to be different from our competitors and our quirky approach to our brand and marketing has helped us get noticed”.
Simon Haupt continued “In addition, we only recruit the very best. This includes Graduates and Trainees that we can grow and develop the Solution way. Our staff are our biggest asset and without them, we wouldn’t be where we are today”.
Today we are a thriving technical agency with exciting and ambitious growth plans. The construction industry is busy, the future looks bright and our clients; companies throughout the UK within the Architecture, Interior Design, Construction, Rail & Civil Engineering, Professional & Consultancy, 3d Visualisation & Graphic Design, Building Services Contracting & Consulting are positive and upbeat about the next 10 years. We are proud of our past achievements and are excited about the future. We look forward to building on our already solid and profitable foundation.
