Celebrating The Blades - History and legacy

I worked with The Blades Aerobatic Display Team to create a short video celebrating their 17 years in business for their final event at the team's base in Northamptonshire... The Blades Ball 2023. The brief was to create a 5 minute video celebrating what The Blades achieved since their launch in 2006, why they are closing and how they will be remembered. I conducted interviews with the founders, main investor and lead pilot to elicit the story of how The Blades started, how they succeeded through increasing adversity and what they brought to customers and their parent company, 2Excel Aviation. The film is made up of archive footage from when the company first started in 2006 all the way through to some of their more recent events in 2022 before their closure was announced in January 2023. The film was shown to the pilots and their supporters, friends, colleagues and sponsors at the last ever charity event on Saturday the 24th of June at the team's base in Sywell Aerodrome.
