Celebration of Movement

Celebration of movement is about migration and the new experiences people have. this is all about celebrating culture and heritage while in a new city or location. The project follows theses of forming new friendships, starting new life and relationships and aspects of changes you have when leaving your country of origin to a place with new diverse faces. The inspiration came from looking through photo albums of old photos of my parents' life in London. It brings out aspects of their stories and creating textile prints from old and new imagery.
