In "The Hero", a kind of treatment - which surprises us - happens to Syrian history now! How? Returning the hero to the "strong body", but .... within his modern context: as a sports hero. The championship is now in Syria, as it is in the world: for the athlete, with all the symbolic dimensions of the concept of "hero." In Syria, when this therapeutic "response" occurs through a cultural and epistemic medium as a film, we are not only facing a correction of society and concepts that have been devastated by war, but rather the resurrection of the soul, through a true myth made by the film in front of us; The legend of the hero athlete, who the jailer turned into a person unable to walk.
